I’ve taught in an international school and now tutor online, mostly supporting higher-ability students aiming for top grades. I enjoy teaching poetry comparison and unseen texts, where analytical detail really starts to matter, and I ask students to build a bank of example paragraphs we can refine together.

My name is Isabel and I teach IGCSE English Literature from Seville, working mainly with students taking Cambridge exams. Over the past 9 years I’ve helped classes and private students with set texts, from modern prose to Shakespeare. I like going slowly through key scenes and then building that into focused essay plans, paying close attention to how the assessment objectives are worded and applied.

I tutor IGCSE English Literature alongside my work in local theatre. I especially enjoy helping students unpack dramatic texts and stage directions, as that’s what I know best. Most of my students come to me in the final year before their exams, looking for targeted support with essays and coursework, and I’m used to working with tight deadlines when dates are already close and fixed.
